Start Your Recovery With Us
Pain management rehab at Addictionology Center treats opioid dependence in person. We prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone) at our St. Louis clinic. Detox is managed at home with your provider’s support. Counseling and support groups run alongside it.
You are not alone. You can build a better life than the one you have today. You are not the first person to recover, improve your life, or come to our program. Our assessment looks at your health, your social and family life, and your mental health. It also covers money, legal issues, work, and more. You get a plan the moment you finish your assessment with your treatment team. We follow that plan, update it, and revise it as your care goes on.

Frequently asked questions
What is pain management rehab?
Here it means treating the opioid dependence that so often starts with pain. Your medical visits happen in person at our St. Louis clinic. There, your provider prescribes buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone). Detox is managed at home with your provider’s support. Counseling and support groups run alongside it. Your plan looks at your health, family, mental health, work and legal issues, not only the drug.
How hard is it to get prescribed Suboxone?
It starts with one phone call. Our enrollment coordinator checks that we meet your treatment needs. Then we schedule your first visit. At that visit a provider examines you and builds a plan around your health history and goals. If Suboxone is right for you, you start induction. You get comfort medicines to ease withdrawal. The whole path is laid out before you begin.
Can chronic pain lead to opioid addiction?
Often, it is exactly where addiction starts. More than 30% of Americans live with some form of acute or chronic pain. And more than 57% of patients with opiate addiction started using opiates because of chronic pain. So a pain management rehab program has to treat the dependence. It also has to respect the pain that opened the door to it.
How often will I see the provider during treatment?
At least once a month, in person at our St. Louis clinic. When you are starting out, you take a drug test at least once a month during your visit. Your plan is set the moment you finish your assessment. Then it is followed, updated and revised as you move through care. Everything stays confidential, and appointment times are set to fit your schedule.
