The enrollment form asks for the same information a first call would, and it lets you say whether you would rather be reached by phone or email. It takes a few minutes and it is the faster route if you are contacting us outside clinic hours. Start the enrollment form.
How soon you can be seen
Appointments are usually available within days rather than weeks, and they are scheduled rather than queued. That matters in opioid use disorder specifically: a wait is not a neutral inconvenience, it is a period of continued exposure to a supply that is now contaminated with fentanyl.
The opening weeks carry the most appointments, because induction and dose adjustment happen together and both need a physician in the room. Once you are stable the interval lengthens considerably.
What the first visit involves
- A history and an in-person physical examination
- A decision about which treatment fits, and medication started that day where it is appropriate
- A clear account of the next few weeks — visit frequency, what screening involves, and who to call out of hours
- No sedation is used, so you drive yourself in and out
